Happy July!  This month we celebrate the 4th of July, Independence Day for America.  But let's look at some history, shall we...  July 4, 1776 was when the Declaration of Independence was adopted by Congress, giving the British immigrants the ability to operate independently of Great Britain and create their own government.  That's right, British immigrants.  So while the founding fathers would love for us to celebrate this day as our entire country's independence, really it was only the white Brits that benefited from it all.  I'm not sure...
